HGV electronic toll collection in Poland

All motor vehicles over 3.5t are subject to toll on the road network in Poland. It is managed by the national operator KAS and 3 other private operators.

POLSKI SYSTEM OPŁAT JEST MIESZANY:

• "Open" for the e-Toll network thanks to a microwave on-board unit (On Bord unit), certified by KAS.
• "Closed" to the A1, A2 and A4 networks via video toll recorders and DSRC technology.

HOW IS THE TOLL CALCULATED?

The amount depends on the number of kilometres driven, the weight of the vehicle and the EURO emission class.

• A1 (Rusocin - Czerniewice).
• A4 (Katowice - Kraków).
• The e-Toll network.
